Weekly Challenges

Weekly Challenges: three fixed targets, seven days

Three challenges run for a week at a time: tap fifty thousand times, spend ten thousand energy, and defeat three bosses. They are the one place in the game where the target is a plain number and it is the same number for everybody.

That is deliberate. The daily cards are sized to your own rate so that nobody is asked for more than anybody else; these are a flat wall, and where you stand against it says something the daily cards cannot.

The weekly challenges panel: challenges reset in two days, tap fifty thousand times at 4,565 paying 40,988, spend ten thousand energy at 3,415 paying 27,325, and defeat three bosses at zero paying 61,482.
The three, mid-week, on a real account. The targets are the same for everyone; the payouts are not.

What each one asks for, and what it pays

Fifty thousand taps pays twelve minutes of your income or 2,515 points, whichever is larger. Ten thousand energy pays eight minutes or 1,762. Three bosses pays eighteen minutes or 3,768. The three together are thirty-eight minutes of income in a week, which is a little over five minutes a day.

The boss challenge is the richest of the three because it is the only one that cannot be done sitting still: a boss appears every four hours, so three of them is at least three separate visits across the week.

The taps counter is the same lifetime counter the rest of the game reads, and so is energy spent — nothing here is a separate score. Playing normally moves all three at once.

Seven days, and what happens at the end of them

A week is seven days from when yours started, not a calendar week, and the panel says how long is left. When it ends the counters go back to zero and the three challenges start again.

A reward you earned but did not claim is lost with the week, exactly as an unclaimed daily mission is lost at midnight. The panel is the only place the claim button exists.

Two things in the late shop touch this: Double Weekly Rewards, and Auto-Claim Weekly, which presses the button for you. Both sit behind prestige ten.

Where they sit against everything else

Five minutes a day from the weekly challenges is small beside the twelve and a half a day the daily missions pay, and that is the intended shape: the weekly set is a floor under a quiet week rather than the main thing to chase.

Where all of it adds up, and what a point finally converts to, is the rewards page. Four of the hundred achievements also count weekly claims, so finishing a week moves those too.
